Hope Rising
Hubby and I are reading the same book at the same time. We do this sometimes.
It is a wonderful book with inspirational stories. And, the best part? They are true stories.
The book is titled, "Hope Rising" by Kim Meeder. I highly recommend it!
Here is a summary...
Transforming an abandoned rock quarry into Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, Kim and her husband, Troy, created the perfect match---a rundown property filled with broken horses, all to love back to life thousands of mistreated children. Come visit a place where the impossible flourishes, dreams survive a mean reality---and hope rises.
If you read this one, please let me know what you think about it.
Enjoy!

Oh! You are so lucky! I don't think I could beg enough to get my hubby to read a book *WITH* me! The book sounds good too! One I may have to look in to...
LOL BTW, on your most recent entry...
I can't hear enough of anything BUT the pope. My hubby is extremely interested in what's going on in regards to the pope, too, but I'm about sick of hearing of it from him (my hubby) when I hear about it all over the news. LOL I do agree though, that the Lord uses the Pope to do many good things, as He does with so many others as well. :)
