Stress Doesn't Kill, But It Maims!
I see that I have a lot of updates to do. But, I don't wanna. And, since this is my blog, I won't. Hmmpth!
Ok. Fine. Have it your way. My husband was able to go back to Connecticut with his brother. They left on a Sunday morning, and came home Wednesday evening. The trip went extremely well. They met family they had never met. Including one brother and two sisters! That was really cool. Since I am a foto freak, he came home with about 250 pictures on our digital camera. He takes good pics. I was thrilled!
Money is still not my friend. We were able to borrow money from family. There are a few stipulations though. We have to work our butts off to get a home equity loan. If we cannot do this within 30 days, we will put the house up for sale, to pay them back that way. They will be making money on the deal too, regardless of how they get it. We are borrowing $7,100 to pay off our outstanding debts. And, they get $8,875 at the end. What are our outstanding debts? Mortgage payments, car payments...you know, stuff like that! I am thankful to God that he provided this for us. I am thankful to my family for helping us. Bottom line? I am thankful.
Pretty soon I will be working two jobs. Obviously, I do not believe I am tired enough. Or, it could be the $$. I will be working for the school district as a Special Needs Bus Monitor (as I have for 5 years now) and also at the Shoe Store on weekends. It will be good because when we have vacation days or weeks at the school district, I can work extra at the Shoe Store. Pretty good deal. It will definitely help.
We have family in town right now. They are here until Saturday morning. It is so nice to see them. WAIT a second...I have not seen them yet. Why? I have been working. (sigh) But, I have today and tomorrow off. Woo Hoo!
My father in law (the one that just had hip replacement surgery) is out of the hospital, and in a nursing home. This nursing home seems to be so much better. I will have to take someones word on that because I haven't been able to make it down there. Why? I have been working. (sigh) Do you notice an ongoing theme?
My hubby got up at 4:30 am this morning. He is a fishing-aholic. It's good though. He spends time with his buddy and it is a great stress reliever for him. NOT for me. I have not tried. He has stopped taking me with him. Maybe it's because I revealed that I always pray he does not catch something! He knows God responds to prayer! hee hee!
Ok. Now that I have spilled my life....what about you? What's going on in your life right now that I don't know?
List 5 things about your life at the moment. Well, I am waiting... (tap, tap, tap - impatiently)
Oh, and about my hubby's car? It needs a new engine. Something about the "head being cracked" I believe. (sigh) But, I am in a good mood! Go figure! It must be the intensive prayer!
