Oh my word. I thought I kept everything in here. I didn't even tell you about our friends that passed away, did I?

Walt Disney World...

A 4-year-old boy died after going on a Walt Disney World thrill ride that uses centrifugal force to simulate the weightlessness, and often the queasiness, of a rocket launch, investigators said on June 14, 2005. The boy met the 44-inch (112 cm) height requirement for the Mission: SPACE ride at Disney's Epcot Center park and his mother said he had no history of medical problems, said Orange County Sheriff's Cpl. How horrible! I know that there is always a safety risk with these rides, but not many people really think about it. I know I don't. I'm sure I will now. It's sad to have a story such as this.
Please, pray for the family that just lost their little boy. There has to be such sorrow, and grief. There may also be feelings of guilt, however misplaced it is.

Mae Magouirk was transported from the hospice in LaGrange, Ga., to the University of Alabama-Birmingham Medical Center, where she is now receiving adequate care. According to her nephew, Ken Mullinax, bloggers and their readers played a significant role in helping Mae’s plight be made known and motivating the necessary parties to act.

Mae Magouirk is an 81 year-old widow being starved to death in hospice DESPITE HER INSTRUCTIONS to the contrary, thanks to the decision made by her granddaughter which was completely the opposite of what was stated in Magouirk’s living will.
Magouirk's living will carefully provided that a feeding tube and fluids should only be discontinued if she was comatose or in a "vegetative state" – and she was neither.

What is this world coming to? I think that Terri Schiavo's story was bad, and this is just as bad, in my book.
A lot of people have been hearing about Terri's story. It has helped many make the decision to get living wills.
A question -- what good does a living will do if it is blatently disregarded??

I pray that someone would help this women. Soon. That people would be respectful of her wishes. As, in this case, there is definitive proof that she would not want this death.

I am darkly disappointed in finding out Terri Schiavo has died.
Imagine being her mother or father...

Having your daughter die, for any reason, would be difficult.
Watching your daughter dehydrate and die slowly & painfully each day must be excruciating.
My only hope is that out of this sorrow a change will occur.
And, that no more people will die this horrible death.

My prayers go out to her parents and friends.
God rest her soul.
